Tempa was started in 2000 to cater for a new sound emerging out of South London, which has grown to become recognized as the global underground genre that is 'dubstep'. DJ Hatcha has established himself as the scene's leading DJ, working for the past 3 and a half years behind the counter of the mighty Big Apple Records in Croydon, the UK's answer to Detroit. With a residency at London's monthly Forward>> night, he has become renowned for playing a totally unique and upfront selection of dubs from producers like Benga, Skream, Horsepower, Menta, Kode9, as well as his own productions. Hatcha has over 10 years of DJ experience under his belt at the age of 21 and also holds a residency on London's infamous Rinse FM and Flight FM. He's also held down a show for years on the legendary Upfront 99.3. He guests regularly on the BBC's 1xtra plus Groovetech & Pyrotechnic Radio on the net and is playing abroad more and more regularly.

This is the second CD released on Tempa Recordings, the first being Horsepower Productions LP/CD 'In Fine Style' which was released last year to huge critical acclaim. There are ten 12"s released to date and loads more planned, including the collaboration collectors series Tempa Allstars...
